You never know what you have until it’s gone. This is exactly how we felt about this Bloemfontein couple shoot. 

I have done hundreds of field session before lockdown and to be honest, I was quite tired of them. Then Corona happened and we were unable to do any shoots for over 10 weeks. As soon as we were allowed back outside I took to a good old field at sunset. Well let’s just say that we created magic.

MJ and Ziva are final year medical students who dream of living in Cape Town, furthering their careers as doctors, and Santorini sunsets. What stood out to me was how comfortable they were with each other. They reminded me of this quote:

“When you put your arms around me, I’m home”
