Cape Town Elopement

I feel so inspired by different landscapes, and the moment I saw the desert and rocky plane of The Wolfberg Cracks and knew I had to create a Cape Town Elopement inspired shoot.

I asked fellow photographer Samantha and her husband film maker Armand if they would be our models for the shoot. Along with the most incredible dress from Simone Couture and make up by Chanté Moffat my vision was brought to life.

I am not a big fan of the words “Styled Shoot” because I feel that love should never be styled. I approached this shoot the way that I would any other wedding session; focus on the love in front of you.

We drove over 200KM to get to our destination, but as soon as we were there I knew magic was about to happen. Along with their teacup deutsch hound, we explored the landscape and embraced spontaneity.
