Ané first contacted me to photograph her graduation shoot. 3 months later, a nationwide lockdown and with no graduation to shoot, we rather opted for a rooftop couple shoot.

Not only was the sunset absolutely perfect, but it also happened to be my very last shoot before moving to Pretoria. Architect and Doctor to be, Ané and Mario’s unique style and mad love for each other made this such a special shoot.

While exploring this semi-abandoned building, we found a room with a view of the city and the most beautiful light pouring in. A moment I will never forget as Mario and Ané danced in the light streaming in.

We ended the session off with sunlit kisses on the rooftop and said goodbye to another chapter.

Here’s to the end of a journey, and the start of a new one.
