Emily Moon River Lodge Wedding
Chris and Sanmari won a couple shoot with us and we became really good friends after that. We cannot begin to explain the joy we felt celebrating their wedding day, and commemorating their marriage at Emily Moon River Lodge.
Chris & Sanmari’s wedding was originally scheduled for January 2021 (well, this was their second date already). After so much uncertainty of when they would be able to have their wedding and the prospect of moving abroad, they decided to get legally married on a tuck shop bench, on the 7th of January. While on their honeymoon in The Garden Route they had dinner at Emily Moon. Dinner turned to spending a few days, and needless to say they fell in love with the place. It’s not hard to see why.
They eventually decided to celebrate their marriage with just their closest friends, and decided on one of their favourite places to do so. We loved the intimacy of it all. The next day we headed to Robberg Nature Reserve for some more photos. Be sure to scroll all the way for some jaw dropping scenery.
This wedding was a team effort. All the decor was done by Sanmari’s family. After seeing it we told Sonica (the main decor guru) that she had to take it up as a career. We think she did an outstanding job. Vinisha (one of Sanmari’s best friends) worked her magic for the hair & make-up, and San’s dress from VonvĂ© brought the whole look together.
Chris and San; you guys know we love you, and we are blessed with your presence in our lives. Thank you for letting us share in these memories, and for the privileged of having been able to capture them.
With Much Love,
Michelle (& Gustav)
